8 Advanced Network Virtualisation Layer for OpenFlow Networks
  • Design and implementation of VeRTIGO, the virtual topology (VT) creation on OpenFlow.
9 Support of Content centric networking functionality
  • Design, implementation and overall validation of a content centric networking (CCN) extension to OFELIA.
10 Integration of OpenFlow and Path Computation Elements
  • Design, implementation and overall validation of centralized control plane architectures using PCE based path computation in single and hierarchical configurations.
11 OpenFlow-assisted Video on Demand
  • Design and implement an OpenFlow-assisted Video on Demand (VoD) service based on caching
  • Evaluate and demonstrate, using a Quality of Experience framework, the benefits of OpenFlow on a VoD service running on a production network
12 EDOBRA -
Extending and Deploying OFELIA in BRAzil
  • Design, implement, validate and provision enhanced OFELIA testing opportunities related to important aspects within Future Internet research
  • Integration of mobility and multicast mechanisms under light of a new clean slate protocol
  • Extension of the OFELIA platform to Brazil
